"The true measure of a man is not how he behaves in moments of comfort and convenience but how he stands at times of controversy and challenges"
Martin Luther King Jr.

We constantly worry about many things at work. We worry about Money, Work related Issues, Uncertainty, Unemployment, Health, Relationships at work, Job, Insecurity, Failures, unable to meet targets, Work life balance, disappointments, no promotions, Fear and lot more. Some of these could not be avoided but it has to be overcome by us, while many of these challenges could have been avoided if we would have been LITTLE proactive.

Let's take few minutes to reflect ourselves before we start our day. Are we proactive or reactive? What is Proactive? Anticipating Challenges and controlling the situation by planning. Now, what is reactive? Wait for something to happen and then act on the situation. What are you today?

I am not sure how the day is going to be today, but I trust in the knowledge and believe myself. I think about what is possible. I ask myself what are the best ways to take control of what is before me, it might be a Challenge or an Opportunity.

Are you afraid of Challenges? I will look for the good in every challenging situation that occurs to me this week. I will change my life by changing my thinking about challenging events. I will claim the good, knowing that it will come to me.”

I am well prepared for anything that comes before me. I know I have put my best efforts to overcome the challenges that I might face today. Being Proactive.

Best way to overcome challenges at work is to anticipate Challenges. Be prepared to overcome. This Out-of-Box Thinking will definitely bring out the best in you to be successful. Sir Winston Churchill says the only difference between a pessimist and optimist is the pessimist sees the difficulties in every Opportunity and the optimist sees the opportunities in every difficulty.

Questions for self-reflection TODAY:

 What makes the day Challenging?
 Do I anticipate Challenges?
 Am I Proactive or reactive.
 Where am I headed to?
What are the challenges I face regularly?
Did I learn from my past mistakes?
What support system I need to overcome these challenges?
What do I desire the most at this point of my life?

You have a choice today to be proactive or reactive. Good Luck !
